VariCel RF’s rigid construction maintains a compact unitized structure under variable air velocities and repeated fan shutdowns. Pleat stabilizers and an expanded metal support grid maintain the shape of the media pack and maximize both efficiency and dust-holding capacity. The galvanized steel header and cell sides interlock along the entire length of each side for effective sealing against bypass leakage.

The media used in the VariCel RF is made up of scrim-backed, meltblown synthetic. Layering the media provides both a lofted prefilter layer for larger particulate and a high-efficiency final filter layer that captures fine particulate.

VariCel RF filters are designed for use in HVAC installations with moderate to difficult operating conditions, particularly Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems.

The single header is suited for 1” side access channels.

The double header model effectively replaces existing box style or no-header style filters.
