The “Rainbow” ACTACARB SW2002 Side Access Carbon filter is designed to cover a wide range of applications where there are restrictions on the space available, particularly height.
As can be seen from the table on the back of this pamphlet, there is a wide range of heights available to give the best capacity and dimension to suit any application.
The SW2002 filter box has a standard depth of 750mm and a standard width of 1220mm. There is a 40mm flange all round to facilitate connection to ductwork or to a “Rainbow” Side Withdrawal Filter Box. These filter boxes are made to suit all types of filters.
A special feature of all “Rainbow” Activated Carbon Filters is the use of a fine mesh bag to retain the carbon. This bag makes for quick and easy replacement of the spent carbon. No human contact with the carbon containing absorbed odours or harmful gases and easily disposed of. The pre-filled bags always contain the correct amount of carbon. You are not relying on the Service Personnel to ensure the correct amount of carbon being replaced when the filter is serviced. The trays are specially designed for the quick and removal of replacement of the bags.
Standard finish is Galvanised Steel, however filters made from Stainless Steel or Powdercoated steel are also available.
Several types of treated carbon are available to remove various types of odours and gases, such as hydrogen sulphide and formaldehyde, etc. The containments react with the compound impregnated onto the carbon surface and the reaction products are absorbed into the carbon by chemisorption.
The coconut shell activated carbon used in “Rainbow” Activated Carbon Filters is produced under strict quality controls. The carbon has a high hardness number of 98+ which is important in preventing breakdown in use.
Quality assurance certificates are available for every shipment of carbon.
