Rugged and effective, the Type K Exhauster wheels are designed for years of trouble free operation. The Type K incorporates a heavy gage all-welded housing construction with a unique winged rib design. On the shaft, the split taper hub is an exclusive AAF feature that prevents impellers from freezing to shafts.
Available in 14 sizes ranging from 7-inch to 42-inch inlet diameters, the Type K Exhauster is available in standard AMCA arrangements 1 and 9. Arrangement One is predominantly used for the usual industrial exhaust system. Where space is a premium, Arragement Nine should be considered. Other constructions include corrosion resistant coatings, special alloy steels, spark resistance, and high temperature units. Accessories such as fan housing drains, flanges, and a shaft seal may also be included.
