PerfectPleat ULTRA filters are made up of MERV 8 DuraFlex media with antimicrobial. DuraFlex is American Air Filter's patented, self-supporting media. When pleated, DuraFlex will hold its shape without the need for wire support, which means safer handling, resistance to rust, and simplified disposal. All PerfectPleat ULTRA models are treated with Antimicrobial, preserving the integrity of the media by inhibiting microbial growth in high moisture conditions.
The perimeter frame of the PerfectPleat ULTRA is constructed from the highest wet-strength, 28 pt. beverage carrier board available. Patented tri-bar pleat stabilizers and support straps ensure stability against turbulent airflow and provide excellent lateral stability for installation in side-access systems.
PerfectPleat ULTRA filters are designed for industrial and commercial applications having light to medium dust loading conditions. Combining antimicrobial properties and MERV 8 efficiency, PerfectPleat ULTRA comes highly recommended for an advanced level of filtration.
